Open Music
From Music Creation Wiki
Welcome to Open Music!
The intention of OPUS is to create an environment where people from all around the world can come together and contribute their musical talent to create compositions and songs. There are several categories within this wiki that contribution standards are met within a collaboritive effort, through:
- Conventional music notation.
- midi files available for download.
- Actual recordings that are editable by any user.
- Any method that users may feel aids the goal of creation and completion.

Goals
It is in no way an easy task for most musicians to cooperate. Although there is no particular way to go about making this website successfully funtionable, setting some guidelines will only benefit the collaborative effort.
- All files are public domain; if you submit it, it is for the world to mess around with and tweak. Credit will be given, do not worry, but be sure to create an account for this website!
- Every music file gets classified under a particular genre. Try not to be overly specific; an example being 'Literary Rock'. Not satisfied with what's available? Add a new one!
- Every music file gets classified under its filetype. If you have a drum loop with the intention of it being used for a rap song, place it under loop.
- Be prepared to receive all forms or response! You may think you are the next Beethoven but the community may disapprove of your song edit etc. and it may be tossed aside. This should only further compel you to work harder.
